Faculty with the Division of Public Health Sciences frequently share their research with the news media and in blog posts and articles for wider audiences. They also provide their expertise on podcasts: 

June 2020: Jean Hunleth, PhD, MPH was featured in the AnthroPod podcast discussing “Children’s Carework in a Global Pandemic.”

May 2020: Graham Colditz, MD, DrPH was interviewed for “Show Me the Science,” a new podcast from the School of Medicine, on how to stay healthy during coronavirus stay-at-home orders.


The Division of Public Health Sciences has also worked with MindsEye Radio and LAMP, Language Access Metro Project, to produce health-related podcasts. The podcasts, “Health Beyond Barriers“, are 10-minute health podcasts produced in English, Spanish, Bosnian, Vietnamese and Arabic. The podcasts are distributed within a 75-mile radius of Belleville, Illinois, and are available for listening through various smartphone and tablet apps as well as online.
