The ColoCare Study

The ColoCare Study follows a cohort of men and women who have been newly diagnosed with colorectal cancer (stages I-IV) and ascertains biological specimens and other data at repeated timepoints after diagnosis. This project will investigate molecular markers of response, and toxicity to treatment, recurrence and survival, as well issues related to quality of life.

The ColoCare Consortium was formed in 2007 at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in 2007. Since then, several additional siges have joined: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; German Cancer Research Center; Huntsman Cancer Institute; Moffitt Cancer Center; The University of Tennessee Health Science Center; and Washington University School of Medicine.
