On August 3rd, Dr. Timothy McBride will address common confusions around Medicare and Medicaid coverage for cancer care. The goal of this session is to inform the community about what Medicare and Medicaid cover ahead of the Medicaid expansion vote on August 4th and enable providers, navigators, and others to assist patients in obtaining the best care possible while minimizing financial setbacks.
Dr. McBride is a health policy analyst and leading health economist who is helping to shape the national agenda in health insurance, health reform, rural health care, Medicare and Medicaid policy, health economics, and access to health care. He is a professor in the Brown School and co-director of the Center for Health Economics and Policy in Washington University’s Institute for Public Health.
