The Division of Public Health Sciences welcomes new faculty member Fei Wan, PhD, as Assistant Professor. He will work with our biostatistics shared resource to collaborate on projects in the Siteman Cancer Center. Dr. Wan comes to us from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Department of Biostatistics, where he has served as Assistant Professor since 2016. He completed his PhD in biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that he earned master’s degrees in mathematics and applied statistics. Be sure to welcome Dr. Wan when he begins on May 1!
We also welcome Shu (Joy) Jiang, PhD, as Assistant Professor and member of the biostatistics shared resource. Dr. Jiang will collaborate in biostatistics and develop methods for trials in the area of precision oncology. She comes to us from a postdoctoral fellowship in biostatistics at Harvard University. She earned her PhD in statistics at the University of Waterloo and an MSc in statistics at the University of Western Ontario. We look forward to Dr. Jiang joining us on June 1!
